Lord...I Want to Know You, More...

I read this quote and had to share it because it so fits my life.

"I've found that the more I get to know God, the more I want to know Him. The more I experience His peace, presence, and power in my life, the more I want to experience His peace, presence, and power. I crave Him more." Gwen Smith

Hungry people can get grouchy, and it's true for Spiritual hunger as well as natural hunger...if something seems 'off' and you are just 'not yourself', it may be that you are hungry for more of Jesus. Take time to meet with him daily and get your "DAILY BREAD", especially during this season of Lent when we seek the true meaning of self sacrifice and what He did for us at the cross and to celebrate is Resurrection power in our lives.

Prayer Notes:

A spirit of prayer will create an atmosphere for the plans and purposes of God to come to pass. Those things that come to pass usually follow people who are fueled by desire for God and His will to be done; and it is desire that fuels the prayers of a righteous man. Effective prayer is not a casual experience; it is a prayer that comes from deep within and it has to be continual. God is revealing things to us all the time. God is constantly preparing us for things to come; when he reveals them to us it should not come to us as a surprise as God will prepare us to receive them. If you let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth, you will pray out the perfect will of God.

WORSHIP:
There is an inseparable link between worship and the glory of God. Worship brings His glory into manifestation. Once His glory comes, it produces worship in the hearts of people who genuinely love the Lord. It is hard to really experience Him without expressing gratitude toward Him. When the realms of heaven spills over into the earth, worship, which goes on continually in Heaven, will be experienced in like manner by those on earth.
