Remembering Warmer Days. . .

I am cold today, so I posted these photos from our weekend getaway to the Black River Crossing Bed and Breakfast and hiking along the trails in the State Forest there. The first photo is of me in one of my favorite hangouts, sitting on a hammock deck chair at the Bed and Breakfast located near Bessmer, Michigan (Western portion of the Upper Peninsula). I loved that place, which was a perfect for relaxing after hiking the many trails of all FIVE waterfalls along the Black River. Gorgeous!

This second photo is of Rainbow Falls, one of the five waterfalls.

All of that walking and not to mention all of the out of the way places we climbed in order to get the "Perfect" photo, had me glad I work out every day to stay in shape! {See why I liked that hammock chair that came complete with a footrest?} And.. the jacuzzi at the end of the day; felt mighty fine and helped ease the aching muscles. Aaaahhhhh !! I could look at these photos all day! Hope they serve as a little "refreshing" for you, too, in the middle of this harsh winter cold.

one word... jealous. I want that experience-I don't mind waiting until summer, if I were promised something as wonderful as this get-away sounds.
one can dream though...[sigh!]
