I have the BEST Prayer Group in the World!

The tuesday evening prayer group, in which I lead, had been cancelled over the Holidays and I was looking forward to getting back into the routine. I really miss praying in this group when we don't meet, so it was something I was eager to do. My team are wonderful and had left me messages and voicemails, some cards of condolence in the loss of my brother. But, I was not expecting anything from them, just appreciated them and their prayers. However...last night when I got to prayer, I was blessed by them with a surprise party, complete with appetizers, desserts and soft drinks. One gal even made my favorite, PEACH COBBLER!! They didn't stop there, they gave me cards and gifts, and went together on a gift card (With a substantial amount on it!) for our church bookstore!! They prayed for me and let me express my joy and sorrow. Of course we prayed and when I left, I cried. Letting them know how much they meant to me.

Thank you, Lord, for providing your support through your Body, and those in my "pea-patch" in particular. How I praise you for each one of them!!
