"Hello, Nana, this is Anna..."

There is nothing sweeter than to have my granddaughter talk to me on the phone, especially when she sings to me. Today it was one of her favorite songs, Barney's "I Love You". It brought tears to my eyes as I experienced another of life's "FIRST MOMENTS" My first conversation with Anna where we can understand each other and she tells me she loves me; well, in a Barney song anyway, but to me, that counts! So along with Barney and friends, I am numbered as one of the souls she loves. Did you know that God can even use Barney to bless us?
Read the words to this song and be reminded of God's love for you today...
I love you,
you love me,
we're a happy family
with a great big hug and
a kiss from me to you,
won't you say you love me, too!

Then...Anna sang:
My God is so BIG,
so strong and so mighty
there's nothing my God cannot do!

He made the mountain tops
He made the rivers
the stars are his handiwork, too,

My God is so BIG,
so strong and so mighty
there's nothing my God cannot do...For you!Yup...nothing like making this Nana's day!
So that is my reminder for you today. Take the words of the songs little ones sing and believe them! Mix faith with them and you will find that He really, really loves you, no matter who you are, and that you can be a part of His happy family, like the Barney song suggests, and that love is strong enough and big enough to do ANYTHING for you; even move mountains of adversity in your life. God loves you and is bigger than your problem. And a little child shall lead them... Isaiah 11:5-7

Can you believe I was just humming that song while getting my son dressed this morning? God is so good! Good lesson for all of us, young and old.
