I went around the side of the house yesterday, and what did I see, but the tulips growing! So what is the big deal you ask, afterall, it is spring... Ah, but here is the miracle. Last summer I decided to change things around by the side of the house, and accidently dug up most of the tulip bulbs, that I forgot were there. I felt this awful feeling and decided to just continue with my plans and not have tulips there. The thought saddened me, as I always looked to the tulips as a real source of enjoyment and a sign that Spring had finally SPRUNG! So, my delight in seeing these beauties in their spring display, was really a double blessing; and brought tears to my eyes, as it made my heart glad and so reminded me of God's love and forgiveness... and His constant reminder that there is always a spring to our winter. No matter what we do with our internal bulb...God is there to say... it is okay, you will bloom anyway!

That is so neat!! Beautiful reflection.
Nice Marie! I know firsthand about blossoms that keep blooming when I am certain I dug up the bulbs in my life. God has a way of protecting that which HE planted - not what we thought WE planted. It's got a golden seal around it keeping it protected from us uprooting something precious by mistake or misunderstanding.
Nice - and yours are the real deal; while I have to rely on Photos to upload.
Happy Spring and thanks for the beautiful teaching.

so cool!!! & what is even crazier is that i've dug up the same tulip bulbs for 4 years on my front walkway & they keep coming back! (they were getting very straggle-y & i keep meaning to replace them w/ daffodils - deer resistant) but your explanation for them continuing to bloom does it for me! thanks for this!!
