Peace and Rest in the Midst of Chaos and Hurry...

I thought of this photo that Bob took a year or two ago on the shore of Lake Superior, when I read this wonderful poem by Spurgeon in my morning devotions today.

"To me remains nor place, nor time:
My country is in every clime;
I can be calm and free from care
On any shore, since God is there.
While place we seek, or place we shun,
The soul finds happiness in none:
But with a God to guide our way,
'Tis equal joy to go or stay."

So how is your Friday? are you seeking a peaceful shore with God? No matter what is going on in our lives, or in our country, or in our "space", we can be in the realm of God's peace all of the time, just by letting HIM guide our way! I love that place! Psalm 91 talks about it too..."Under the shadow of the Almighty!"
