The Forgotten Ones...Again...

To the world, Obama vowed once again that America is "a friend of each nation and every man, woman, and child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, and that we are ready to lead once more."
I felt sadness when I heard this campaign promise inserted now into his inaugural speech. "EVERY CHILD"? I wanted to scream back. What about the child who seeks a future of peace and dignity, but is given NO CHANCE to even exist to have a dream or a future? There is a group of forgotten ones who have not had a 'friend' in the White House in a very long time. Yes, there have been presidents who did support the rights of the unborn, and with the help of American Citizens Concerned for Life, many lives have been spared, but overall, the abortions continue. The unwanted unborn have no rights in this country, no say and no way to stop their obliteration or to have their destiny destroyed before it has had a chance to spring forth into life. They have very few who stand up for them and see them as 'people'. So when I see a president, who spouts words of wisdom for the 'freedom of EVERY person', yet doesn't recognize these precious ones who are ripped out and left abandoned, (some left to die on the cold floor of a hospital scrap room), it grieves my spirit. So, I ask, how many more babies will never be able to "Have a Dream" (to quote a well used phrase from MLK's promising speech) much less be able to see it fulfilled? How many more children must we lose, until we get it in our hearts this practice is so very evil? But mostly, how much of the little bit of support and ground we have gained for this cause during the last administration, will we lose, with partial birth-abortions just waiting to be re-voted on and then enacted? How the enemy of our souls claps and laughs at us; he doesn't need to lift a finger, he already sees we are destroying ourselves by killing our young.
I don't think I am alone when I say that I am truly weary of witnessing more compassion rise up from America for animals/pets than for our own, unwanted offspring. Their argument, of course, will be to say it is just tissue or call it anything but what it really is. Well, they can call it what they want, to appease their consciences, but God still calls it a child! {See Jeremiah 1:5 "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations," }
Don't get me wrong, I will continue to pray for our nation, the court systems and our new president, regarding this and other issues, just as I have for every administration and just as every believer MUST. But, specifically, I will pray that the eyes of his understanding be flooded with God's light in all areas, I pray the fear of God on him to reveal what the very heartbeat of God truly wants for our nation, and I will pray, that he, too, will be overcome with such great sorrow for the forgotten the little ones.
So, here's a revelation on this anniversary of Roe v. Wade:
As long as we murder our offspring, we will not know the peace that each president has spoken about at each of their inaugural addresses. It should come as no surprise that we, as a nation, will not receive the full blessings of God manifested as long as we allow child sacrifices to the 'god of convenience'!!

Well said! I get sick inside and weep in my soul just thinking of those tiny babies pulled from the safety of their little world of life, the womb suddenly embraced by the harsh death grip because of the god of inconvenience provides the mommy's a selfish escape clause using a pitiful lament of "a women's right to choose" ....yes, she chose alright, to be selfish & deaf to the cry of her child! May God have mercy on anyone who allows this murderous lie to continue!

Very powerful! When I think of the dr. that told me 4 times to abort Taylor even though I told him it wasn't an option for us, I get a sick feeling inside. How many others that were teetering on the fence did he convince "it is in the child's best interest". God help our nation.
