Remembering 9-11-01

TWO LIGHTS

Two beams of shining light now stand,
where once two towers stood…
They represent all that was destroyed that day
When evil tried to tear down what was good.


Two lights from heaven shine here now,
Reflecting the tears from the throne
One from each eye of the Father God,
His mercy will forever be shown.


Oh that we remember the ones who gave
Their lives, their hopes and their dreams,
But let us also never forget the One who
Forgives and brings beauty for ashes unseen.
