Favorite Things

We found out on Saturday, at our great-nephew, Henry's second birthday, that one of Anna's favorite things to do is go down the waterslide at the Becker Community Center pool, where the birthday party was held.

and Owen's favorite things are balloons! Hopefully another favorite thing is being held by his Nana, who never tires of watching him and his sister. Thanks to Karalynn for these cute photos. I got several photos, too, but we are having computer issues so it was not letting me load them. I will find another way, soon and share mine with you, too.

FISH FRY!

On Friday night, we had Marcia and Gary over for Walleye dinner. Since I have most of Mom and Dad's photo albums, he got to meet the rest of the clan, via the old photos and didn't seem to mind scrolling through the many, many scrapbooks and photo albums that Mom kept. After that, we enjoyed watching one of our favorite movies, "That Thing You Do", which Gary hadn't ever seen before. We laughed just as hard as we did the first time we saw it. Always good entertainment! Thanks for coming out, Marcia and Gary and for the peach pie!

What a wonderful time they had at the party!

I can tell you don't enjoy being with your grandchildren at all, Marie! Ha! You really are an attentive grandma.

Fried fish sounds good...but I can't have too much of that fried stuff. Glad you enjoyed your time with your sister.

Great pictures:)

I told Karalynn how very impressed I am that Anna is not scared of the water or the water slide.. that is so good. Alex is still so scared of the water and would NEVER go down a water slide even with a parent.. that is good to get them over those fears early on.. we are paying the price for not exposing our kids to swimming way sooner:(
