Prayers For Our Children

I came across this wonderful verse and just had to share it. {It's from the International Bible}:
Isaiah:25
...the LORD has promised to fight on our side and to rescue our children from those strong and violent enemies.

What a wonderful promise to stand on for our children, when trouble wants to land on their doorstep. Oh how the enemy of our souls would love to steal the fruit of our vine and he does it by little bits and snatches... the little foxes spoil the vine...another verse says; and it relates to all fruit in our lives especially the fruit of our vines...our children. Our children are mighty in God and He said in his Word, Psalm 8 that out of the mouth of babes and unweaned infants He has ordained praise, which causes the enemy to flee. {that word 'flee' here means to run as if in terror!} So when our kids sing praise and worship songs; the enemy has to flee; he cannot stick around. No wonder he tries so hard to kill, steal and destroy them...even from the womb. Let your children rise up and praise God today. It will put the enemy on the run. It may be the last thing they want to do; but have them do it anyway...it's medicine to their soul and lets the light of God shine through the darkened corners of their little lives.
AND...even if your children are grown and gone, you can pray that they will always have the GREATER ONE who dwells within them, come through for them every time. It's part of the promise of God's Word that if you raise your children up in THE WAY {Jesus is the Way} they should go, then when they are old, they will not depart from it. I hope this blesses you as much as it did me.
