April Fools!

I always liked April 1st. Not because I am a fool for April Fool's day, but it brings back fond memories of when Marcia and I would change places in school. You would think that year after year, the teachers would 'get it', that every April 1st, the Silver twins would pull the "ol' switcharoo' in their classes. It was a good thing we were identical in grades and interests, or we would have been SUNK otherwise. In the classes we shared together, we traded seats. My favorite was in such a class, where Marcia and I traded seats in Mr. Kozel's 9th grade History class. It was the last class of the day and our teacher bragged in a smug style, that "NO ONE" could trick him with an April Fool's joke that day. He went on to tell us of the different little jokes and pranks that involved bugs or out-and-out lies. As he went on and on, Marcia and I looked at each other, sitting in each other's desks, and thought it was the perfect set-up! After the long class period, one that entailed me answering for Marcia and I answering for her; the bell was ready to ring, so I looked at Marcia and she nodded and we both stood up and said, "NOW!" and switched places right in front of the teacher. He was STUNNED, then he laughed and laughed and said, "Were you sitting in each other's desks the whole time?" We answered to the affirmative. "Even when I went on and on about noone being able to trick me today?" We both nodded. He just continued laughing and said, alright, you got me!
Now, as fun as that was, April 1st holds another precious memory for me...one with more meaning. It was this day, 31 years ago, that my Honey asked me to marry him and..I said "YES!!" because I knew it was no joke!
Have a good day! Oh and...no one has caught it yet, but I posted the daily locator with someone's details upside down, just to keep up the tradition! We will see who catches it first.

And finally...
ANOTHER NEW MONTH...ANOTHER NEW DESKTOP! {Enjoying my new desktop for April!}

HAHA! I remember that well! Great memory! I also remember vividly, the panic that would set in when Miss Olsen called my name and you didn't answer....she snapped her fingers twice to get your attention, I was writhing in my desk chair like I had a hornet in my undies!
Great story!
