Today is National Day of Prayer

WHY WE PRAY
This year, the American people will elect the officials in the Federal and State Government. Whatever the outcome, we know those assuming positions of leadership will bring their own ideas, priorities, and visions for the future of our great nation.
In the midst of such change, uncertainty abounds; yet, we do not need to fear. God is sovereign and nothing comes as a surprise to Him. Whether we face fluctuating economics, threats from abroad, unrest at home, or other troubling circumstances, our Heavenly Father is not caught unaware. Through prayer, we are able to tap into His wisdom, strength, protection, and peace. He stands ready to respond to our needs when we humbly ask for divine intervention in the affairs of men.
SO...JOIN US TODAY, AS WE LIFT THIS NATION UNTO THE LORD IN PRAYER, BELIEVING THAT WE RECEIVE GOD'S INTERVENTION IN OUR COUNTRY.

When prayers go forth you are not only giving a supply, you are also receiving a bountiful supply into your own life. Prayer will lift you up and put you where you are supposed to be.

A spirit of prayer will create an atmosphere for the plans and purposes of God to come to pass. Those things that come to pass usually follow people who are fueled by desire for God and His will to be done; and it is desire that fuels the prayers of a righteous man. Effective prayer is not a casual experience; it is a prayer that comes from deep within and it has to be continual. God is revealing things to us all the time. God is constantly preparing us for things to come; when he reveals them to us it should not come to us as a surprise as God will prepare us to receive them. If you let the Holy Spirit guide you into all truth, you will pray out the perfect will of God.

WORSHIP:
There is an inseparable link between worship and the glory of God. Worship brings His glory into manifestation. Once His glory comes, it produces worship in the hearts of people who genuinely love the Lord. It is hard to really experience Him without expressing gratitude toward Him. When the realms of heaven spills over into the earth, worship, which goes on continually in Heaven, will be experienced in like manner by those on earth.
