Oh Come, Oh Come Emmanual...Oh wait...Not yet, I'm too busy...

Ten days left before Christmas! Always gets a little more busy and a bit crazier the closer we get to Christmas Day. My cards are out, most of the Christmas baking is done, Holiday parties are over, {well, except for one more which is tonight}, the tree has been up for a while now, and I even have most of the gifts bought, wrapped and under the tree! Why, then, do I feel so behind? I guess it's because we try and cram so much more into our days that it leaves other things left undone, or the "not so important" schtuff left waiting for us to deal with after the Holidays... well, okay, so we will wash the kitchen floor after all of that baking, and dusting, too, has to be done so as not to resemble a page out of the book "Great Expectations" {where Pip finds the bridal scene... you know the page... the food, cake, all covered in spiderwebs and dust...}. So, the tidying of the laundry room will wait, as will the sorting of clothes I intend to put into the give away bag. After all, it is Christmas... we must make time for the Savior to be with us...God in us...Emmanuel.
